Crowns

A crown is also called or known as ‘Caps’ and is used to improve the strength or the aesthetics of your teeth. Like all other parts of our bodies, teeth get fractured and worn down which can lead to dental decay, toothache and extraction. By placing a crown on your teeth it can improve its longevity.

Crowns are made of porcelain or ceramic material which can be matched to the colour of your natural teeth, allowing the crown to blend in with your other teeth.

Root Canal Treatment

Root Canal Treatment is generally done to save a tooth that has been badly damaged due to decay, disease or trauma. The treatment is normally completed over several appointments which includes removing and cleaning out the bacteria that has entered the inside of the tooth. The tooth will then be filled with a permanent filling material which will prevent any bacteria from entering the tooth again.

After the root canal treatment is complete the tooth generally requires a crown to prevent it from fracturing and to improve its longevity.

Root Canal Treatment may sound painful and scary, but all procedures will be safely done with plenty of local anaesthetic so that you will not feel any pain during the procedure.

Dental Implant is one of the most common options of replacing your missing teeth.

In order to achieve the best result, a titanium screw is safely placed in the jawbone first, once the bone and gum have had time to heal around the implant (normally takes around 2-3 months), a crown can then be attached to the implant.

Most implants can be safely placed and restored at our surgery under local anaesthetic without causing any pain.

For those who are very anxious, we can organize the implant to be placed under sedation in hospital.
